Other FSC regional standards

Given the requirement to harmonize one region's standards with its neighbours', we provide here the links with the standards, draft or endorsed, of other Initiatives in Canada.

a working document produced in March 2000 compares different northern regional standards that have been approved (highlighted in yellow), are pending approval, or are under development. Its downloadable version is available as a PDF document.

The Maritime Region standards are available on FSC Canada's website, at the following link. They have been endorsed by the FSC with conditions to be adressed, and can therefore be used for certification audits in the Maritimes.

The standards for the Great Lakes-Saint Lawrence region of Ontario can be found here. They are still draft standards and have not been endorsed by the FSC.
