FSC accredited certification bodies

Ten organisations to date have been accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council to conduct audits and grant FSC certification to companies that respect regional FSC standards and that meet chain-of-custody requirements (to follow the wood from the forest to the retailer and prevent "contamination" with non-certified wood during transport, sorting and transformation).

The four certification bodies below are closest to Quebec. There are others, in France, England, Germany, south Africa, and elsewhere. We can provide ther contact information upon request, or you may find them at the following page of the FSC website. We also mention KPMG, whose accreditation is pending.
